A new presenting line up, new filming rules – same post production script company! We’re excited and proud to be back for Series 11 of The Great British Bake Off and to have been asked to produce the final programme transcriptions post production scripts for the series that will air on Channel 4 & Netflix.

A lot of work has gone into bringing the much loved baking show back to our screens this summer.

In a recent Sunday Times article, producers described the lengths they went to, to ensure all cast and crew were safe during production. Full article can be found here if you fancied finding out more.

Packets of flour were cleaned with ultraviolet light, contestants spent six weeks away from their families and Prue Leith “bubbled” with her pet dogs.

Producers of The Great British Bake Off have explained how they created a safe “biosphere” to ensure that this year’s series — complete with Hollywood handshakes — could go ahead despite the pandemic.

Everyone was invited to “bubble” with selected loved ones if they remained for the duration of the shoot, but Prue Leith was one of the few to accept, bringing along her spaniels Tattie and Teasle. One baker also brought their dog, while Noel Fielding, one of the presenters, was accompanied by his pregnant girlfriend Lliana Bird, a radio DJ.

Kieran Smith, the executive producer, told Radio Times: “Everything was complicated, everything was different, but everybody wanted to do it.”
