We are looking to expand our freelance transcriber team with enthusiastic professionals that have an eye for detail and that are available throughout the working week, evenings and weekends.
This role is best suited to individuals looking to work remotely and that have the ability to manage their own time effectively.
You will be required to transcribe final programmes before they air on television and so the ability to transcribe multiple speakers and situations is a must. Also working to tight deadlines is very important.
You must have an eye for detail, enthusiasm to learn and you must be reliable!
You will be contracted as a freelancer and so should be registered as self-employed and responsible for your own tax and NI contributions.
We offer you the chance to be part of a rapidly growing team and the chance to work on some of the UK’s top TV shows. You will have the flexibility to work from home around other commitments. We also offer highly competitive rates of pay.
We have a short list of key skills that will enable you to work effectively as part of our team.
We produce high quality, uniformed transcriptions and post production scripts to a variety of production companies and broadcasters. To do this we invest a lot of time training and guiding each member of our team in order to produce the same level of work across the board.
We are looking to fill 3 roles initially. These roles are full-time, working week (flexible hours) and part-time that could be school hours or evenings and/or weekends.
If you meet the above criteria and wish to take your application further, please apply with CV and cover letter explaining why you would like to work with us using the link below.
Once we have received your application we will be in touch to arrange a first round telephone interview.
After this, the next stage is an initial trial project that takes approx. 2 hours of your time to complete. This includes a transcription, spelling and a grammar test.
